Navaga (Latin Eleginus gracilis) is a fish of the cod family, which has gained immense popularity among the inhabitants of the Far Eastern region. Distributed in the Okhotsk, Japanese, Chukchi, Bering seas. He likes cold water, he lives near the coast mainly on the bottom. It feels good not only in sea water, but also in desalinated areas and even in fresh water bodies, where it enters during spawning. It feeds on navaga crustaceans, worms, young fish, their caviar.
